The Great Sex Weekend

Review By Amazon.com

OK, so those days of wine, roses, and boundless lust are just a bit of dusty memory, off in the hinterland of youth, before kids, stress, and that most deadly foe of romance--routine--derailed the passion. Sex experts Pepper Schwartz and Janet Lever offer no magical elixirs of youth, just a weekend guide to re-ignited love, road-tested by diligent researchers, with specifics on how to partake of a weekend away that's devoted to recovering intimacy and the pleasures of the flesh. Plan your getaway together and fantasize about it; declare a moratorium on work talk and focus on one another; break old patterns and experiment with new techniques (all delineated in the book). Age may not be a state of mind, but good sex certainly is, and it's a state that can be recaptured.--Stephanie Gold --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Synopsis
"Road-tested" on dozens of couples, The Great Sex Weekend program is the erotic equivalent of the weekend golf clinic. It offers play-by-play instruction in the belief that most couples like to know exactly "what" to do. The program can be customized to fit each couple's own level of emotional and sexual comfort. In just 48 hours (*includes a 24-hour plan for the really busy), you can revitalize your sexual and romantic life -- whether you've been in a relationship for five years or twenty-five -- and recapture the emotional connection and sensual playfulness that too often get lost in the pressures of everyday life.

Because every relationship needs recharging now and then, The Great Sex Weekend not only provides a play-by-play guide to rediscovering sexual intimacy but gives you permission to experiment, to discover the deeper, more satisfying aspects of your partnership, and most importantly to take time --however brief it may be -- for yourselves.

Designed to be used again and again, The Great Sex Weekend is a constant reminder of how you can capture those warm and wonderful moments with your partner even at the most hectic of times. And because no one size fits all, the book offers a wide range of options and suggestions from the most basic to the most outrageously exotic.

Conceived by two professionals with nearly three decades of experience in the field of human sexualiity, and "road-tested" on dozens of couples (whose testimonials and comments appear throughout the book), The Great Sex Weekend works because it's flexible, encouraging, full of wonderful and tempting ideas, and most of all because it's fun.
